In the small and struggling kingdom of Slaxaria, the isolated Prince Wren spent years locked away in a tower, lost in the pages of his books, oblivious to the world outside. He had always been told that his confinement was for his safety, a justification that left him yearning for answers. However, his life takes a devastating turn when a conqueror from Luxen attacks, leaving Wren's family imprisoned alongside him. Unlike his family, who have been placed in the tower in which he once lived, he is taken as a slave to the conqueror, who intends to do with him as he wants, even if it is humiliating to the once stately prince. These invaders are demon tainted, and have powers beyond the people of Slaxaria.

Stripped of his princely dignity and forced into servitude, Wren soon discovers the shocking truth behind his imprisonment—a secret his father had concealed. Now, as he grapples with a shattered identity and the burden of newfound knowledge, Wren must navigate the treacherous waters of loyalty, betrayal, and destiny, unsure of how to reclaim his life and rescue those he loves from the encroaching darkness.

His Crown Prince

The kingdom of Darna is looking to shore up holes in its defense by taking smaller kingdoms as vassal states so they can protect them and themselves. Some lands they take by military might, other lands they take as peacefully as they can. Given the preference, the large kingdom would rather have a peaceful negotiation than a war. In doing so, they approach the land of Skyland. The Skylanders agree, at least, they will agree if the current Prince of Darna, Enki, takes the Vestal Prince of Skyland as a bride. Surprised, Enki tries to tell them he must have an heir, but he’s informed the prince is half-Aeriel, a race of beings that occupy an astral rift over Skyland. With the treaty formed and made, he takes his new bride home, but the mechanizations of war continue outside the kingdom, and the God King from across the sea threatens more than just the kingdom; he threatens Prince Enki’s bride.
