Gold Dragons
Fire based abilities. These abilities include the ability to spew fire and have complete immunity to heat and magic related to fire. They typically live among humans in human form.

Silver Dragons
Rain based abilities. These abilities include the ability to control storms, rain, and the weather in general. They can cast spells related to the weather such as lightning and other things. They do not spew any substances from their mouths like some other dragons. They live in high locations or among the Air-kin Elves.

Bronze Dragons
Earth based abilities. These abilities include the ability to transform earth at will, including metals and other issues. They typically live in the mountains.

Copper Dragons
Acid based abilities. These dragons are immune to acid or acid based attacks. They spew acid and have the ability to use it. They typically live in swamps.

Red Dragons
Wood based abilities. These dragons have the ability to morph wood and create wood from the ground at any time. They typically live in trees.

Black Dragons
Metal based abilities. They have a unique ability to spew shards of metal from their mouths. In humanoid form, they end up being sword slingers. 

Brown Dragons
Stone based abilities. Similar to Bronze dragons, these dragons have abilities based in the very stone and rock of the world. They typically spew gravel-like projectiles. They live in rocky crags and underground.

Blue Dragons
Water based ability. They spew high pressure water that can strip flesh from bone. They also have the ability to manipulate water in any form, including in bodies of people. They live underwater, in caves.

White Dragons
Cold based abilities. They spew cold snow-like substances from their mouth, and they are able to manipulate cold in any way. They can sling sharp ice at others and they are often found in high areas of mountains and in the Frozen North. 

Amethyst Dragons
Psychic based abilities. The only one of the dragons that has mind-based abilities, they are often creatures that stay among humans and other races using their shapeshifting ability and when necessary influence others by psychically pushing them. They have no ability to spew anything, but they can make psychic energy in blasts.

Emerald Dragons
Poison based abilities. They spew a poison gas, and often spend time with copper dragons and live with them in swamps. They also typically do a lot of things inside human realms.

Sapphire Dragons
Lightning based abilities. They spit lightning and can often be found living on high mountaintops and in caves in stormy valleys. They light to be involved with lots of drama, so they can often be found in kingdoms full of strife.

Diamond Dragons
Force based abilities. They can manipulate things by using forces around them. Often referred to as the leaders of the dragons, they are naturally charismatic. They usually reside hidden among other dragons or other races. They have an ability to spew pure force.
